Nicole & Jordan's Intimate India Desert Wedding

When we stumbled on to this intimate yet amazing wedding, we just had to share it with our readers. Meet newlyweds, Nicole and Jordan who celebrated their big day with a DIY wedding at an exotic natural location, the Thar desert of India. The couple did a lot of thinking and researching online but nothing seemed to fit. Jordan had been to Jaisalmer when he was 3 years old and his family had told the duo how amazing it was. Nicole and Jordan then went a month later to check it out and they fell in love with the place.

“We always wanted something a bit exotic and with a lot of natural beauty. Once we decided on the Thar desert, a lot of the ideas came with the location. It was all DIY and the most wonderful thing about having the wedding in India was that you can find all the “exotic” décor for a very reasonable price because it’s so normal here. We are really glad that we went to Jaisalmer a week before to be able to hang out with our friends who traveled for many hours to get the desert. We do wish that we had more time with them cause time just seemed to go so, so fast” says Nicole.
