Macau Casino Tycoon's daughter Sabrina Ho engaged to Thomas Xin, gets $87million property as gift

Sabrina Ho, 28, daughter of Macau casino tycoon Stanley Ho, announced her engagement to Thomas Xin Qilong, 21, a Harvard student. Xin proposed to Sabrina Ho back in September 2018.

The heiress received a HK$500 million (S$87 million) property as a gift when she threw her engagement party.

Xin, and Sabrina were also said to have received HK$100 million in gold and diamond jewellery from well-wishers. Xin was born and raised in Harbin. Dubbed the ‘light of Harbin’, Xin made headlines when he was the province’s 2nd person to get into Harvard.

Sabrina, is the chief executive of Poly Auction Macau and head of her own company, Chiu Yeng Culture, which promotes art and cultural events in the former Portuguese colony.

According to sources, they will reside in the United States since Xin, whose mainland Chinese parents are businessmen, has not graduated yet. Sabrina is reportedly pregnant.

The engagement comes in the wake of that between her brother Mario, 24, and Ming Xi, 30, a Chinese supermodel. He had proposed to Ming Xi with 99,999 roses in a Shanghai mall.

Mario, congratulated her sister in a post, “I will miss her, yet I’m really happy for her. From now, remember to be respectful and filial to your parents-in-law. Remember to come home and visit us often. Stay healthy and have plenty of children.

“Wishing that you and brother-in-law will grow old together and have a happy marriage.”
