Marchesa designers, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, created a line of dresses that focused on transformation. A visible trend of the New York Fashion Week was non-wedding dresses: dresses for brides to wear for occasions other than the wedding.
Whether it’s the pre-wedding party, after-wedding feast, and a host of other events centering around the wedding, the bride shouldn’t have to wear the same wedding dress throughout. There should be a range of chic white outfits at each bride’s disposal to look stunning in.
And that is what Marchesa showcased in their Fall 2018 collection featuring removable trains for brides to hit the dance floor and short Chantilly lace dresses that were ideal for city hall weddings and engagement parties.
