With the seafront location, the newlyweds still wanted to create an enchanted forest vibe and introduce a number of various rustic elements into the design. As the architects, Neal and Sam paid close attention to details. Semi-circle construction with meadow flowers and dried grass made a very unusual ceremony setting for Thailand wedding, where people more often prefer exotic flowers. With greenery on palm trees and soft sunset light, the scene looked even more beautiful. As the dinner time approached, the guests moved to a big lawn where under the lights on romantic lamps they’ve enjoyed the night together with the bride and groom.
How did you meet?
We met one summer at a social event. We then reconnected when we kept bumping into each other in Hong Kong after we moved back from the US
What was the proposal like?
The Proposal was in Barcelona in one of the most prestigious and recognised design hotels in the world.
Why did you decide on Thailand as your wedding destination?
We have always enjoyed travelling to Thailand and we found the atmosphere and vibe in Phuket most appropriate. Most importantly, majority of our guests came from ASEAN and Hong Kong. Phuket was a relatively accessible destination.
