Hong Kiu & Jesper's Dreamy Phuket Wedding

This romantic destination wedding of Jesper and Hong Kiu in Phuket got us swooning over the gorgeous details and captivating pictures that send our hearts aflutter. The Hong Kong based couple hosted their lavish wedding celebration at Sava Villa Essenza. The couple chooses to work with our Luxe List vendor, The Wedding Bliss Thailand to create for them a romantic wedding do, made of a palette of soft pastel colours that was oh-so dreamy and romantic. Befittingly, Hong Kiu the bride wore three gowns over the course of the wedding.

The bride wore a stunning ‘qun qwa’, a Chinese traditional red dress worn by a bride, for the tea ceremony before the formal celebration. Traditionally, this ceremony signifies that a couple is officially husband and wife after a formal tea ceremony. For the wedding ceremony, the bride chose a simple and elegant number from Jenny Yoo and a soft pink 2 piece attire – a Carina corset by Watters and matching Ahsan flowing, voluminous tulle skirt she bought from BHLDN. Her sense of style and the couple’s entire celebrations are made of daydreams. She says:

“We wanted to have a ceremony beside the sea. I liked Alice in Wonderland when I was a child, so we used flowers to decorate our wedding venue to make it look like a fairy tale and when it came to the colour selection, I liked that light pink gave our day more of a My Fair Lady style.”

With ending words of wisdom from the bride to brides and grooms-to-be;
