“The moment I began to shoot the wedding at Alila Uluwatu Bali, I asked myself what has stopped me from covering weddings before this with a film camera. And when I saw the result, I felt the need to do more of it. There’s something about the color that makes it different… like it’s softer, more romantic, with a bit of a fine art feel to it. I don’t know if you can tell the difference (I hope you can) but for me, this experience was refreshing and addictive that has made me believe that film has won my heart once again. So, let me share with you Ren and Stacey’s wedding album that I shot mostly on film,” says photographer David Soong.
