Liz and Wai Fong’s Shanghainese Pre-Wedding By Chester Kher Creations

How we met.
We met at work. No, it’s not what you think, there were not any office romance going on. Our relationship only began few years later (where one of us had already left the company), we started hanging out and here we are today.

What inspired your personal wedding style, and how did you incorporate your style and personalities into your big day?

The proposal happened on the 4th of July 2015. It was another one of Liz’s work trip to Shanghai, and Wai Fong had flown in less than 48 hours prior to the proposal day. Fortified by our affection for Shanghai, we decided to have a theme inspired by the ‘Suits & Cheongsams’ à la Shanghai in the 1920’s – 1930’s. And that’s how “The Shanghainese Soiree Project” came to life.

What is the most memorable moment of your day?
The editorial fashion inspired shots in the cold winter weather.
